Psalm 5
It seems like there will always be people trying to undermine you. Maybe not intentionally, but because of a perceived misunderstanding they may have about you. From my experience, many of those are not right with the Lord, as they neglect their daily time with God, spiritual disciplines, and harbor worldly ways when it comes to understanding relationships within the body of Christ.
The Lord, God, does not take pleasure in wickedness or sin, and He destroys those who lie, commit injustice, or are deceitful. However, He answers those who cry out for help and comforts them in their distress.
When it seems like the enemy is surrounding you with constant attacks, sowing disunity and harboring evil, it can often feel like the walls are closing in. Those who oppose you are self-destructive; there is nothing good in what they say, nothing righteous. They will fall by their own schemes.
Know that there is a God who fights for you, serving as a Shield above you. It is in Him that we find refuge and joy. God is the judge of the wicked, and we bring our cries to Him. Paul acknowledged that we are not to judge brothers and sisters, for we each give an account to God. We should also avoid putting obstacles in each other's way (Romans 14:10-13). Instead, we are to speak the truth in love, each one of us, with the goal of reconciliation.
Let God be the judge and allow Him to reconcile the enemy for you. Jesus said, “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him” (John 3:17). Jesus also said, “You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone” (John 8:15). Let us not judge by our flesh. There is wickedness and evil in the world, and they attack; this includes those in the church. Be vigilant and stand up for what is right, leaving judgment to God.
